Why choose Tiny Turtle?

Tiny Turtle meals are made right here in Perth using real ingredients you can recognise and trust. Our meals are gently cooked, snap-frozen to lock in freshness, and contain no added salt, sugar or preservatives.

We believe feeding your baby should feel simple and stress-free, which is why our meals are ready when you need them—without compromising on quality, nutrition or flavour.

Where is Tiny Turtle made?

All Tiny Turtle meals are prepared in our commercial kitchen in Balcatta, Western Australia.

We're a family-owned business and every meal is made with the same care and attention we'd want for our own children.

How do I heat Tiny Turtle meals?

Our meals all contain detailed heating instructions on the pack. Our meals can be heated in the microwave or on the stovetop. Always stir well and check the temperature before serving.

How do I know which stage is right for my baby?

Our range is designed around your baby's feeding journey:

  • Stage 1: First Foods (around 6 months)
  • Stage 2: Textured Purees - around 7m+
  • Stage 3: Lumpy Purees - around 8m+
  • Stage 4: Tiny Bites - around 10m+

Every baby develops differently, so these ages are a guide only.

What if my baby doesn't like a meal?

It's completely normal for babies to need multiple exposures to a new food before they accept it. In fact, some babies may need to try a food 10–15 times before they become familiar with the taste and texture.

We encourage offering the food again on another day, perhaps alongside a familiar favourite. Every baby develops their own preferences and feeding journey at their own pace.

If you're ever unsure which meals might suit your baby's stage or tastes, we're always happy to help with recommendations.

Can I use Tiny Turtle alongside home-made baby food?

Absolutely! Many families use Tiny Turtle alongside homemade meals. Our meals and snacks are designed to complement your baby's feeding journey, whether you're making food from scratch, using store-bought options, or a combination of both.

Tiny Turtle is perfect for busy days, meal inspiration, introducing new flavours and allergens, or simply having nutritious options ready in the freezer when you need them.

How do I know when my baby is ready for more texture?

As your baby gets the hang of purees, you can start introducing foods with a slightly thicker texture. Signs your baby is ready include chewing motions, increased interest in food, and the ability to swallow foods that are a bit thicker than purees. Typically, by 7-9 months, babies are ready for mashed or small, soft pieces of food.

Do you add salt, sugar or preservatives?

No. Our food range contains no added salt, sugar or preservatives. We focus on real ingredients and home-style recipes. In fact, if you read our ingredient lists, you'll find ingredients you recognise and would happily use in your own kitchen.

Orders and Delivery

What happens on delivery day?

On the morning of your delivery, we'll send you an email with your delivery window and a tracking link so you can follow your order's journey.

We'll let you know when we're one stop away, and you'll receive both a text message and email once your order has been delivered.

As we complete all deliveries ourselves, we're happy to accommodate special requests and delivery instructions wherever possible.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

No. Your Tiny Turtle order will arrive in an insulated box that keeps your food frozen for up to 4 hours, so there's no need to be home when we deliver. You'll receive a delivery window and a text message once your order has been delivered.

Have a special delivery request? Just let us know at checkout. Because we handle our own deliveries, we're happy to accommodate instructions wherever possible.

How do you keep my delivery cool and safe?

All Tiny Turtle deliveries are completed in our two freezer delivery vans, ensuring your order remains frozen right up until it reaches your door.

Your order is packed in our custom insulated delivery cartons, which are specially designed to keep your food perfectly frozen during delivery and for up to 4 hours after drop-off.

If you'll be away for an extended period (more than 4 hours), just let us know and we can leave your order in an insulated esky instead. Just let us know.

Can I shop at Tiny Turtle Balcatta and Booragoon?

Yes! You're welcome to visit either of our Tiny Turtle stores and shop in person—no online order required.

Do you offer same-day delivery?

Yes, this is an additional service we have recently added. If you can not see the the 'Same-Day' option at the cart please contact us for a delivery quote.

Can I choose my delivery day?

Delivery days depend on your suburb. Enter your postcode at checkout or any product page to view available delivery days. Contact us to discuss alternatives if required.

Do I need to wait for confirmation to pick-up my order?

All orders are available for immediate collection during store opening hours. There's no need to wait for a pickup confirmation—simply place your order online and head in when it's convenient for you.

I forgot something! Can I add to my order?

Absolutley! As long as your contact us before your order has been packed for delivery. You can call (0407470422) or email us  and we'll send you an invoice. 

When do orders close for my delivery?

Orders close at 5pm the day before your delivery. To check your delivery day, enter your suburb at the cart or on every product page.

Allergens and Ingredients

Is your food suitable for babies with allergies?

This depends on the product and your baby's individual needs. Always check ingredient lists carefully and contact us if you need help choosing suitable options.

Do your meals contain allergens?

Some products contain common allergens such as dairy, egg, fish, wheat or nuts. Please check each product label and ingredient list carefully before purchasing. We are happy to help.

Storage and Safety

Are Tiny Turtle meals frozen?

Yes. All Tiny Turtle meals are quick-frozen after cooking to lock in freshness, flavour and nutrients. Simply store them in your freezer and heat when ready to serve.

How long do the meals last in the freezer?

Our meals can be stored frozen until the best-before date shown on the packaging. This is usually around 6 months.

Can I refreeze meals after thawing?

For food safety reasons, we recommend not refreezing food that has been fully thawed. We will never recommend taking any chances with your baby's food.
