How to turn purees into fingerfoods

We know the struggle, sometimes little ones decide they’re done with purées before you are. But that doesn’t mean they go to waste!

With a little creativity, you can turn Tiny Turtle purées into fun, tasty finger foods your baby will love.

Toast toppers: Spread puree on toast fingers or crackers

Stuffed veggie boats: Fill halved roasted zucchini, capsicum or sweet potato and top with cheese

Pinwheels: Spread puree on puff pastry, add some cheese, roll up, slice into bite-sized spirals and bake

Dipping platter: Offer two purees with finger foods for dipping, like a toddler tasting board!

Quesadilla wedges: Spread puree and cheese on a tortilla, fold, warm in pan or sandwich press, cut into triangles

Egg muffins: stir puree into whisked egg, bake in muffin tins

Croquettes: Combine puree with mashed potato, shape into logs, bake

Ready for self-feeding? 🐢

Tiny Turtle Stage 4 Tiny Bites & Finger Foods are designed for babies and toddlers moving beyond purées.

With thicker textures and small pieces, they’re perfect for practicing independence and self-feeding. From muffins, meatballs and patties, every bite is made for little hands (and growing appetites).
